REDWINGS OPENING DAY 2014

New Logo
The rain snow and wind from yesterday pushed the Rochester Redwings opening day back till today. A good thing too, as the gloom of yesterday broke into this beautiful cloudless ALMOST warm day. Really, you would have sworn it was June. We picked our pal Jack up early, he had to be there for the festivities , giving up plenty of time to just enjoy this much deserved lovely day
First Hot Dog of the year! Well, first ball park hotdog.
Neil got a new hat, and his first Muck Dog of the year.
A very nice crowd. Calling off yesterdays game proved to be a bit of a headache for the team, so they just pretended that it was yesterday, honoring only those tickets. ( We used Jacks season tickets  - life is good )
Our Buddy Conehead is back!
As long as the sun was on us, it was plenty warm...

As we tore through the bottom of the ninth headed towards a Redwing loss in the 13th, it turned pretty chilly, down right cold really, with the wind of the river. Most of the crowd took off, our little section of diehards stayed put. Other than the score and the little bit of cold, it was a great day and way to kick off the 2014 season.
