The roads were bad. Right at freezing , 34, 33, 32 etc is the worst for roads - gets slushy, re-freezes, hard for the trucks to keep up. In just the few miles from our house to the restaurant we saw several wrecks and cars that had gone off the road. We did a big slide leaving. Happy HAPPY! to be tucked in at home, fully equipped for a few days in.
It gets dark so early this time of year ( and this far north )
