All the sturm and drang of the Autumn comes down to yesterday.
SEC! SEC! SEC! no more as the mighty fall and for the first time in nearly a decade our storied conference will NOT be in a title game.
The Oregon Ducks took last years #1 FSU to the woodshed in a 59 to 20 spanking in the Rose Bowl, causing the internet to explode with anti FSU memes and such. I didn't see much of this game so was shocked by the outcome. Totally thinking that the powers that be will get their dream match of the might and force of cloud dwelling Alabama against the plucky west coast speed of the Ducks.
Settling in last night to some totally rigged cable tv, in a tv less house - we watched the Alabama / Oho State game , thinking like the announcers that it was a done deal with Bama up two touchdowns really in the second. Not so fast .....
The Urban Meyer led Buckeyes totally refused to go down easy came back hard to win the game 42 - 35 . RTR Nation was gobsmacked, this sort of thing does not happen to the chosen ones.
I loved how this first year of the play off system turned out, twists and turns - ups and downs. A shocker coming from me , but change is good. New colors on the championship pallet are good for the game. Now get ready for unprecedented hype as we wait 10 days for the actual game.
