We are in movie knock-out mode, leading up to tomorrow nights Golden Globes. By the time the Oscar nominations come out, we should be set
FOXCATCHER
This one was hard to find! Had to go to the jumbo movie palace that has the IMAX theater which is pretty far from our house, but I glad we did.
I have some distant fuzzy memory of the ending to this movie happening - but knew none of the back story. A very intense film, beautifully filmed , with some on the edge of your seat timing. Steven Corell is so damn creepy in this movie as the DuPont heir with a what ? wrestling fetish - If I do have one complaint about the film it is that you do not get into his head - why does he do what he does - BUT the men in the movie have no idea either so why should the viewer? The rich are different, and sometimes that can lead to all sorts of bad things.
Not for everyone, a very slow moving movie - long silent pauses, but the master class acting really pulls it all together.

This one is just a fluffy joy of a ball of cotton candy, with the most beautiful young man to ever come out of Orangeburg South Carolina. Every single frame is just a delight a perfect little palate cleanser for all these intense serious movies we have been seeing! By all means find this one on line or your red box.
