A DOUBLE HEADER

DAY TWO AT THE BALL PARK

This one was planned in advance, yesterday, was just Jack calling as we were driving back from Ct and asking if we wanted to go with him, but today had been on the books for a while. Our pal Don planned this one with some other guys from Neil's old school district. 

 Last night was cool , well comfortable, today was Lawrence of Arabia hot - almost 90º , but we were in the shade underneath one of the covers on the first base side

 A coneless Conehead!

 And really it was a nice day - but I like the heat.

 DOLLAR HOT DOG WEDNESDAY!

 But it was really to hot for Neil to be out in it, so we left about the 6th inning, it was a really long game, the second inning lasted seemingly forever - in the end the Wings won again, 6-0 over their thru way rivals the Buffalo Bison.

The full service bar was just rocking as we left the park - which I dont really get. Yes, you can get a drink and watch the game on tv - which most of these folks were watching what must have been last nights Yankee game - but THERE IS LIVE BASEBALL just on the other side of that wall .
