Remember back , gosh I have no idea how many years - the very first year that the MLB had the then silly one game play off for the Wild Card team for the post season. The Atlanta Braves, coming off what I remember to be a very nice run up to the wildcard - maybe only missing the NL East by a game or two - something was odd about this wild card try. Anyway, one and done, against someone I can't recall and Boom! Your baseball season is over. Sad for the Braves.

Meanwhile north of the border our Canadian neighbours are having a bit of a freak out.
