Columbia South Carolina was the epicenter of the once in a hundred lifetimes that hit last weekend. From what I have read, the campus of the University of South Carolina was not damaged as other parts of the area. But the resources needed to hold a home SEC game are pretty massive and there are loads of folks still in need up there.
So, the game this weekend against LSU moves to Baton Rouge ( 3:00 ESPN ). But with only a few days notice , no way to get the Fightin' Gamecock band way down to Louisiana . With full Southern Hospitality flying the LSU band is learning the SC fight sone and alma mater. What a nice bunch of folks!
